A common ability of successful people is that they have developed the skill to do things that they know they should be doing in moments when they don’t feel like doing them.
Success is not choosing to take the fast route on an escalator – it’s about choosing to take the stairs; putting in the grind, the consistent discipline, learning, reflecting, adjusting and building up the strength and vital momentum.
It’s not that the most disciplined people don’t like discipline any more than the rest of us, they aren’t out to seek pleasure from unnecessary pain.
They simply process their choices through different criteria than the rest of us.
They use their learning to develop themselves as they evolve through their experiences, working from outside of their comfort zone.
While discipline itself has its peak and troughs like the variations of our energy, focus, motivation and drive – discipline coupled with courage, humility and someone external to watch over your performance, to hold you to account and push you harder, can be the perfect mix for success.
This is why Coaching is helping business leaders – DO more, BE more and ACHIEVE more towards their dreams and goals.

Hmm it seems like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. Hi there, I read your blogs on a regular basis. Your humoristic style is witty, keep it up!
